An XDP is a built in RJ-11 in the back of the phone
that e3nables you to connect any single-line device,
thereby doubling you connection capacity with out
additional cards or wires. Because the XDP is a
seperate extension, you can use bith phone devices
simultaneously. Fax a document while talking on the
telephone. Carry on a phone conversation while
transferring data from your PC to another.
Speaker Phone
A built-in speakerphone enables you to set the phone
for automatic hands-free answering of intercom

This feature lets you call another 7400 series phone
user who is currently on the phone. the other user
can hear you through the handset of his or her phone
all the while undetected by the outside caller.
With the KX-T7456 and KX-T7456 you can opt to use
the Whisper Off-Hook Call Announce or Off Hook Call
Announce, which works through the speaker phone of
the person you are calling (instead of the handset)
